Return & Refund Policy

At Prakrat, all our products are handcrafted by traditional artisans from Madhya Pradesh, making each piece unique. Due to the nature of handloom and natural dyeing processes, an irregular weave, print, or stitch is not considered a defect, as handcrafted products naturally lack the consistent uniformity of machine-made items. Handloom products, by nature, embody a beautiful uncertainty in uniformity.
Additionally, slight colour bleeding during the first few washes is normal and not considered a defect. Customers are advised to strictly follow the wash-care instructions mentioned on the product page and garment label.

Returns

Eligibility for Returns:

  • Returns are accepted only for damaged, defective, or incorrect items received.

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags intact.

  • Returns must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the order.

Important Note:
👉 For fitting issues or if an incorrect size is ordered, only exchange is applicable. No return or refund will be provided in such cases.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Customized or made-to-order products.

  • Items purchased on sale or with discount codes.

  • Slight variations in colour, texture, weave, print, or minor colour bleeding as mentioned in wash-care instructions.

  • Products with fitting issues or wrong size selection (exchange only).

Refunds

Refund Process:

  • Once we receive the returned product, it will be inspected.

  • If approved, the refund will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Exchange Option:

  • We can offer an exchange for the same product or store credit instead of a refund.

  • Exchanges are subject to availability.
